Recent highlights and accomplishments of RCRC-Texas include:
- Hosting an interactive panel discussion with clergy and legislators, "Reproductive Choice: a Real Conversation", where panel members shared their stories and engaged the audience in a thought-provoking question and answer session.
- Partnering with Methodist Healthcare Ministries to successfully institute the medically accurate, age-appropriate sexuality education program, Our Whole Lives,for their entire southwest Texas healthcare service area.
- Submitting position statements to the 2007 Texas legislature committees opposing several anti-choice proposals.
- Staffing an RCRC-Texas information booth at the 2007 Southwest Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church in Corpus Christi
- Connecting a Texas woman with supportive clergy counseling as she faced a difficult reproductive decision.
